Gippsland Climate Change Network has been announced as the host organisation of the Latrobe Valley’s community power hub.
The two-year pilot community power hub in the Latrobe Valley will support the development of community-owned renewable energy projects.
Gippsland Climate Change Network will collaborate with other community organisations, local government, business and industry to share knowledge, and identify existing or future opportunities for community energy projects in the region.
The community-owned and operated pilot hub will drive economic and technological investment in the Latrobe Valley region, create jobs and help to reduce household energy bills.
