Yallourn Golf Club will be redeveloped as a result of $194,926 funding from the Latrobe Valley Authority’s Community Facility Fund.
The works will see upgrades to the Club’s irrigation system, installation of solar panels to the club rooms, upgrading of course paths for improved access, an upgrade of bunker drainage, installation of security cameras and more.
The project will upgrade the capacity of the Club to service its membership, lift the amenity and standard of the course and club facilities, reduce the work load for club volunteers, and improve the financial sustainability of the club through increased visitation and a reduction in power costs associated with the installation of solar panels.
