Signature Care is constructing a new multimillion dollar aged care facility in Moe, creating 144 new jobs once operational.
Construction of the facility is well underway, which is providing further opportunities for workers with 55 new jobs being created during the construction period.
The new $20 million facility includes 144 bedrooms, an in-house commercial kitchen, library, internet café, laundry services, hairdresser, café and a variety of communal spaces for residents and their families.
The project was supported by Regional Development Victoria’s Latrobe Valley Economic Facilitation Fund, which aims to attract new investment and fast-track projects to help companies grow and reach their full potential.
To date, the fund has supported 18 projects that are expected to create more than 460 new jobs in the region.
Latrobe Valley Authority is working closely with Regional Development Victoria and local councils to help businesses establish, grow and employ staff in the Latrobe Valley region.
