Local job seekers will have the unique opportunity to speak directly with businesses about current and upcoming employment vacancies at the Gippsland Jobs Fair to be held on Friday 24 March from 2pm to 8pm at Kernot Hall, Morwell.
The first of its kind, the event will bring together job seekers, employers, employment providers and industry bodies, with the aim of helping to connect local job seekers with prospective employers.
With many local businesses attending, the Jobs Fair will provide job seekers with the perfect platform to get information on job opportunities and seek advice on accessing a range of employment services.
Attendees will have the chance to talk face to face with exhibitors to learn about employment opportunities across the Latrobe Valley and the Greater Gippsland region.
Throughout the day, there will also be a number of information sessions on how best to find employment opportunities in the local job market.
The event is being run by the Australian Government Department of Employment, with the support of the Latrobe City Council. Entry is free.
