Gippsland Jobs Fair
The Gippsland Jobs Fair will bring together job seekers, employers, employment providers and industry bodies.
This will provide you with an opportunity to talk face to face with exhibitors to learn about real employment opportunities and career options across the Latrobe Valley and the Greater Gippsland region.
Throughout the day there will be information sessions on how best to find employment opportunities in the local job market.

NEIS (New Enterprise Incentive Scheme) information sessions
Mission Providence is running information sessions to explain how NEIS can benefit your job seekers, and new small business owners.
Come along to get advice on:
- Free training in small business management;
- business advice and mentoring for the first 12 months of your business; and
- help with developing their business plan.

Six steps to success for your small business
Have you recently started a business or are you planning to start one? The Six Steps to Success for your Small Business series is designed to provide you with the tools to build the foundations of a successful business. The workshop series will be delivered each Tuesday night over a 6 week period. With a maximum of 20 participants the series provides an opportunity to develop your network and give your business the best opportunity starting out.
Date: Multiple dates through March and April
Cost: $30 for the entire 6 workshop series, or $10 per individual workshop

LVA info kiosks
Staff from the Latrobe Valley Authority will be available in local shopping centres and libraries providing information on support for affected workers, businesses and the community.
LVA staff will be able to answer your questions about:
- what support is available to affected workers and their families;
- funding available to help Latrobe Valley businesses transition, grow and create jobs; and
- grants for community projects that help make our towns a great place to live, work and visit.

Traralgon Neighbourhood house
Traralgon Neighbourhood house has pre-accredited training courses in literacy and computers, as well as a wide variety of general interest courses and activities. Their weekly timetable with over 70 courses and activities a week.
