The Sport and Active Recreation Strategic Planning Grants Program aims to strengthen and build robust, resilient, sustainable and inclusive sport and recreation organisations in the Latrobe Valley region.
We recognise the role sport and active recreation plays in contributing to an ‘Active & Healthy’ region and these grants aim to assist local clubs and organisations improve their effectiveness and efficiency, build capacity, and identifying opportunities for the future.
A key focus for these grants will be to encourage the sport and active recreation sector to increase the opportunities for diverse and inclusive participation in all aspects of their organisation, including players, coaches, administration and leadership.
