The first Latrobe Valley Authority Community Update provides an overview of some of the work LVA is doing for workers, businesses and the Latrobe Valley community.
Message from the CEO, Karen Cain:
I am proud to be appointed CEO of the Latrobe Valley Authority. To work with my community for the future is a real privilege.
I have been talking with many local people about their priorities and expectations of what work needs to be done. There is energy and passion in our community for change to make the Latrobe Valley the best it can be, globally and locally.
Our staff come from Gippsland. We understand and care about the community because it’s our community too. We want to see the Latrobe Valley strong, vibrant and successful.
I know that community expectations are high and that more needs to be done.
The LVA is here for the longterm and we are only just getting started. This Update will give you a sense of the work we are doing.
