Implementation Plan Update

15 December 2023

Update now available

There are lots of new activities, initiatives, projects and programs across industries, education, communities and governments since The Latrobe Valley and Gippsland Transition Plan was launched in August!

The most recent update to the Implementation Plan includes information about a number of new health projects, with a focus on young people and primary school children, as well as liveability improvements, such as the “Connect Up” project connecting trails across the Latrobe Valley.

The “Inclusive Latrobe” project aims to improve inclusivity and reduce discrimination of at-risk populations within the Latrobe Valley.

AGL’s investment of $50 million in Community and Economic Development Funds will support the region as the company prepares for the closure of Loy Yang A in 2035. That’s just a snapshot of the new activity that has been included in the November update!
