Hallora Recreation Reserve
Baw Baw Shire Council have received a $285,000 grant for upgrades to amenities in the home and away change rooms and a first aid room will be constructed within the home change rooms.
The change room and amenities upgrade will ensure that the facilities at the Reserve cater for all participants with high quality unisex amenities that meet current guidelines.
The ability for participant to shower and change in private is essential to foster female and junior participation in community sport.
This will ensure the long-term viability, growth and sustainability of these valuable community clubs, and ongoing physical activity.
Complementing this, the Hallora Recreation Reserve was also one of 30 public buildings in the Latrobe Valley to receive solar upgrades as part of DELWP’s Solar on Public Buildings Program.
